Chart Rider privacy policy

What the game stores on your device

Chart Rider keeps your best scores, streak, level, chosen suit, PFP settings and sound setting in your browser's local storage. If you skip the optional email prompt, that choice stays on your device too. None of this leaves your device unless you submit a score (below) or opt in to email. Clearing your browser data removes it.

The leaderboard

If the leaderboard is switched on, the game sends a random player ID, the tag you type (up to 12 characters), your scores, your streak and your chosen suit to our database. Do not put your real name or any personal details in your tag. Tags and scores are public.

Email

We collect an email address only if you opt in to the daily chart ping. We use it to tell you when the daily mystery chart drops, to send a play reminder, and for occasional product news. You confirm the address from the first mail. Every mail has an unsubscribe link, and that link stops further mail. We do not sell the address.

Ads

Some versions of the game show ads from third parties such as Google. These providers may use cookies or similar technologies to show and measure ads. Where the law requires it, you will be asked for consent first. You can manage Google's ad settings at adssettings.google.com.

What we don't do

There are no accounts, no passwords and no payments in the game. Nothing in the game has real-world value. Email is optional.
